Claiming Rebates

If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from a GP or a referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician, you will be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $124.50 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. This rebate can be refunded into your bank account when payment for your session occurs. If you have a bank account linked to your Medicare card, this rebate will automatically go into your nominated account. Alternatively, please bring your bank details to your first session so that the rebate can go directly to your preferred account.

The rate between 10.30am and 4.30pm is $160 (minus the $124.50 rebate with a Mental Health Treatment Plan), leaving a gap of $35.50 per 50+ minute session. Sessions that are between 4.30pm and 7pm are $180 (minus the $124.50 rebate with a Mental Health Treatment Plan), leaving a gap of $55.50. Please note that people are required to pay for the full cost of a session before they can receive the rebate.

Payment is required at the time of your appointment and can be made via cash, EFTPOS or credit card (MasterCard or Visa only). Please note, cash payments have to be the exact amount because change cannot be provided.

Appointments can be made on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10.30am and 7pm.

The practice can be fully accessed by wheelchair and other mobility aids.
